Site Supervisor

Civil and Scape has an opening for an experienced and qualified landscape and civil site supervisor to immediately join our team. The successful candidate will be working on a diverse range of projects from high end residential to high-rise city centre commercial projects. The successful candidate will be required to work with and manage the site teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and seamlessly. As a site supervisor you will be responsible for the daily site operations and delivery team. A generous salary package and incentive scheme is available for the right candidate.

PREREQUISITES

The candidate must fulfill the following prerequisites to be able to apply for this position:

  • Must have industry knowledge and experience (Civil and Landscaping experience). Minimum 4 years’ fulltime experience
  • Related tertiary education and qualifications
  • Familiar with Construction / Civil & Landscape industry standards and methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current White Card NSW

THE ROLE

The role generally requires the candidate to be someone who:

  • Is a driven and motivated individual prepared to be hands on As a site supervisor you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
  • Generally responsible for the delivery of the project from start to finish
  • Report into Project Coordinator on a weekly basis and / or as required
  • Co-ordinate deliveries and communication relating to RFI’s etc. with Project Coordinator
  • Manage communication between site and office team / point of contact for delivery team/s
  • Manage subordinates such as general labourers, leading hands and apprentices
  • Undertake reviews with Senior Management as required
  • Review and execute technical drawings and scope with site team
  • Coordination of sub-contractors and suppliers to meet program
  • Write / review and maintain construction works programmes
  • Manage OHS compliance and safety onsite
  • Manage quality assurance on each project
  • High organisational skills to ensure all documentation is kept relevant and up to date as required
  • Carry out works in accordance with CAS operating procedures, operating systems and as directed by management
